COACHING TESTIMONIAL

When I started my coaching with Adam I was trying to start my own business and adapt to life in a new state, I was in a bad place. I felt unmotivated, unsure of myself, and incapable of making the necessary moves to advance my professional life. After three sessions with him, I landed a new part-time job, gained confidence, and feel ready to take on any new challenges that come my way.

COACHING TESTIMONIAL

I was experiencing a great deal of anxiety at work and Adam brought so much insight, perspective and many tools to my toolkit. His warmth and compassionate approach quickly broke the ice and allowed us to get to the hard work of analysis and planning. I value the time we spent together and the progress he’s helped me make in my life. I wouldn't have this much courage to push forward with my career goals without his support. Adam, thank you so much for the personal and professional growth.

Ben, Canada.

COACHING TESTIMONIAL

Adam has a depth of experience and knowledge and the enviable ability to create safe spaces for clients to make progress. Three words to sum up his coaching: insight, energy, action.

  • Coaching is a supportive process that helps people clarify their goals, overcome challenges and create a plan to achieve the things that matter most to them. Think of it like having a guide or a thinking partner who asks the right questions to help you figure out your next steps, rather than telling you what to do. It’s about unlocking your potential and helping you move forward with confidence and purpose.

  • Coaching focuses on where you are now and where you want to go, while therapy or counselling often looks at the past to understand and heal emotional pain or trauma. Coaching is action-oriented and future-focused. It’s like saying, “This is where I want to go - how do I get there?” Therapy or counselling might be more about understanding, “Why do I feel this way?” or “What’s causing this struggle?” Coaching assumes you’re ready to move forward and works on helping you do just that.

  • Coaching usually happens in a series of one-on-one conversations (called sessions) with your coach. In these sessions, the coach listens, asks thought-provoking questions, and helps you explore your thoughts, feelings and ideas. You might set goals, brainstorm strategies or reflect on what’s holding you back. Coaches don’t give advice or solve your problems for you - they empower you to find your own answers. Between sessions, you take action on the steps you’ve planned and the coach holds you accountable and helps you stay on track.

Sessions last for 60 mins and can either be 'one-off' or bought in blocks of 4 or 6.

  • Sessions can be online via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, on the telephone, or at my office in Beeston, Nottingham.

  • How often you see your coach depends on your goals, schedule and personal preferences, but most people have sessions every 2–4 weeks. This gives you time to reflect, take action and make progress between meetings.

  • A chemistry session is a short, introductory meeting with a coach to see if you’re a good fit to work together. It’s like a “getting-to-know-you” conversation where you can:

    • Share what you’re looking for from coaching.

    • Ask questions about the coach’s style, approach, and experience.

    • Get a sense of how comfortable and understood you feel with the coach.

It’s also a chance for the coach to explain how they work and ensure they’re the right person to support you. There’s no obligation - if it feels like a match, great! If not, that’s okay too.
